Bill is a licensed real estate broker in Virginia and West Virginia. Bill was the founder of The Thomas Company in 1978. He takes many classes and seminars to increase his effectiveness and has earned one of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations: GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute). Nationally recognized, these designations are earned through a rigorous course of study as well as demonstrated professional experience. In addition, both Bill and Trudy attend the National Association of Realtors Convention yearly in order to receive the most up-to-date information and services available to the real estate industry. Outside of real estate, The Thomases are members of the Chamber of Commerce and Bill is a past president of the Kiwanis.

Bill and Trudy have diverse backgrounds that are aimed at a single goal: your real estate success! Bill is a native of Loudoun County and has lived in the area all of his life. He holds a BS degree in Business with a Real Estate Minor from Virginia Commonwealth University and made real estate his first and only career choice.
Trudy came to Loudoun County from Ohio in 1977. She holds a BS degree in Education from Ohio State University and taught first grade for 18 years, part of that time in the local area.
Bill and Trudy have three children, all of whom were born and raised in Loudoun County. As their children were growing up, Bill and Trudy were very involved in their education and activities. Bill coached baseball and Trudy was a soccer mom. They were both involved in Marching Band Boosters. This, together with Trudy's experience as a teacher, has given the Thomases an acute awareness of the needs and wants of families in the area. They know the schools, the neighborhoods, the services and the benefits available and are a valuable information resource both for those new to the area as well as to those who are simply changing neighborhoods.
When not serving their clients, Bill and Trudy enjoy golfing as well as driving their 1940 Packard and visiting car shows.
